Hello, and welcome to my other war gaming blog. My name is Sean and I am from Sunderland in the North East of England. I have been heavily influenced by both winterof79 and englandprevails, both using 70s/80s Britain as a back drop for their wargaming.
I've decided to do my own setting up here in the North East of England. So please, follow me as I delve into the history of the North East during Thatcher's Britain, including the Miner's Strike, as well as the Falklands War.
Disclaimer: I wasn't around during Thatcherite Britain as I was in 1994 but I do have a slight interest in Britain at that time, as well as the Troubles in Northern Ireland. So please, forgive me if I make any mistakes on this blog and do correct me if I'm wrong.
